URBAN BRAVE

It was Wednesday, March 29 and a very busy day for me as I am required to go to 2 events. One of these, I attended with my complete competitive spirit! Urbanize invited me to their #BraveTheCity event, where upon registering, I was told that the event is going to be full of exciting activities. I was hesitant at first because I am wearing a not so comfy outfit that day, but my competitiveness is still at its peak!
Living in the city is not easy, I had to juggle my social life and personal responsibilities, all while being a fashion blogger at the same time! This is why the event’s theme, #BraveTheCity”, intrigued me. It’s true that the urban life can be scary sometimes, but how is Urbanize going to help us conquer the city? I found out the answer through the different activities that we did that day.
My teammates during the event were Charlene, Kyna, Kally and Zed, and with our joint forces, I think we can rock the other group.
There were 3 games on the event, first game is about walking on the runway with Urbanize products. We were given 15 minutes to complete a look with 3 different styles. We have chosen Zed and Kyna to represent our group. Me, Charlene and Kally were the ones who styled them. It’s so funny and enjoying.
The second game was called “IGotThisInTheBag”. We were given a bag full of Urbanize products for us to use them on our flatlay. We had difficulty at first because the items in the bags seemed so random, but everything eventually made sense when we learned of their functions. Our creativity was put to the test!
Last game was the Mannequin Challenge. We were tasked to chose any urbanize products and model it like a mannequin on their store facade. It was so funny because we were instructed to do 3 poses and it took us 5 minutes posing on the facade with mall-goers looking.
After all the activities that we went through, I finally understood how Urbanize encourages us to "Brave the City". I’d like to think of myself as one of those people who are brave enough to face different challenges in life. Just like many other, I live a multi-faceted life – be it personal, family, friends and different aspects that may affect our everyday living.
Being an “urbanite” fashion blogger, I faced a lot of challenges like travelling through events, keeping up with my social life, and of course, looking stylish while doing it. I never knew I'll be in my place right now as I started as a trash. I was just a fan of those bloggers who are famous enough to reach! I was brave enough to enter the industry and that’s when I learned that as long as you have the right equipment and support, you will survive. Right now, I am where I wanted to be. I am what I wanted before. I love the result of me being brave.
This is what Urbanize wants to tell us by “braving the city”. By offering us products that highlight safety, convenience, and function, Urbanize keeps us equipped to be brave enough to survive the Urban arena.
Overall, we're the winner of the 2nd game and we got to take home a lot of Urbanize items. They are so generous and kind. We enjoyed the whole event especially the food. The games were so challenging and breathtaking. Lol. Thanks Urbanize and Nuffnang <3
