Stay cool while not looking sloppy this summer. The temperature is getting warmer and warmer reaching up to 36-37*C. It's super hot here in Manila! But you can still look cool this summer with your outfits. Whether you're just grabbing an iced coffee or chilling with your friends or maybe just want to stroll around the city, you can still have that great style despite the weather.
Staying cool this summer is a bit difficult because we can't use some style staples like jackets, hoodies, sweaters, sweatshirts and so on. You really have to play around with your wardrobe on which clothes are comfortable to wear with the intense summer heat..
I created 5 outfits that you should consider having in your closet this summer!

WHITE X KHAKI
We all know that summer is the hottest season and to help ourselves beat the heat we really need to wear light colored clothes. Wearing dark colored clothes can intensify the heat temperature of our body that will ruin our mood. The result? You will not look cool this summer.
TIPS:
Wear summer friendly colored clothes such as what I'm wearing.

VERTICAL STRIPES

TIPS:
It's okay to wear long sleeves top as long as it is a bit loose to keep the air flowing.
Wear trousers that are not thick so you can still feel cool while beating the heat!
OVERSIZED
When describing my style, I usually opt to look classy even in the simplest clothes in my closet. I always choose a look that reflects my personality. These days, you really have to blend in this summer. I found an oversized shirt at SM Youth. The quality is really nice which I fell in love with. I really don't have one like this in my closet and now I'm planning to get more. I feel so comfortable wearing this in a 36*C temperature. PRINTED SHIRTS
Printed shirts are really a good investment on your wardrobe this summer. It give that Coachella vibes that almost everyone is dreaming of. Honestly, I'm not a fan of printed shirts before because I always opt to wear the basic and the classic ones. Who says you can only wear printed shirts on beach trips? You can wear them anywhere you want! If you know how to wear them right, you can look cool and stylish this summer. The SM Store got lots of printed shirts for you!
TIPS:
Don't wear it with a printed pants or shorts.
Your shirt should not be too tight on your body.

EARTH TONE
I realized that my wardrobe is more into monochromatic colors. My outfits are neutrals.. One of the reasons why I love earth tone colors is that they are not as loud compared to bold colors.
